A Word from the Chief... The Greenwood Fire Department is a customer-oriented organization partnering with the citizens and visitors of our community to provide the best fire and life safety services through planning, education, and response. Three fire stations house ten pieces of apparatus utilized for both emergency and support operations. Currently, the department has an ISO rating of two (2).  Please read a copy of the press release regarding our 2006 ISO rating improvement!  Also, learn about our recently purchased (May 2008) Sutphen SPH100 Aerial Platform Pumper.
