The Greenwood Geographic Information System (GIS) Department is a Greenwood County office that manages various digital data files to provide current mapping and data services to County departments, citizens, local governments, and businesses. GIS is a technology that is used to view and analyze data from a geographic viewpoint. The County’s GIS office coordinates with various County offices, the City of Greenwood, Greenwood County School Districts, Greenwood Metropolitan District (GMD), and Greenwood Commissioners of Public Works (CPW) to provide a comprehensive network of data that is available to the public.
The GIS Department manages an online site that allows the public to search, view, measure, and print parcel maps, property information, and other map layers. Click here to access the GIS online site.
