Elected Officials

The City Council consists of the Mayor and six Council members. The Mayor is elected at-large, while the six Council members are elected from single-member districts. Together they constitute the legislative body of the City of Greenwood. The City Council acts as the governing body of the city, with all the regulatory and corporate powers of a municipal corporation provided under South Carolina state law.
