Greenwood is located in the Upper Savannah Region of Upstate South Carolina. Greenwood is one hour south of Greenville, SC and one hour north of Augusta, GA. Greenwood is the economic center of six surrounding counties - Abbeville, Edgefield, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick, and Saluda.
